Don Adams, PastorAfter successful careers as a tennis player, stand-up comedian and actor, Don Adams now serves as pastor of Peace Community Chapel.
He was very active growing up in the United Methodist Church in Sunday School, as an acolyte, teaching Vacation Bible School, and in Youth Ministry. Later, Don served for many years in Lay Ministry; as Lay Leader in a United Methodist congregation, leading various ministries, including a Tape Ministry, which brought taped copies of worship services to the sick and shut-in. After serving as Lay Leader for nearly ten years, Don answered the call to pastoral ministry, was licensed for Pastoral Ministry in the United Methodist Church and was appointed to his home church as the Associate Pastor. He then served as pastor to a small New England church and his own congregation. In 2013, Don, helped to found Peace Community Chapel, a welcoming, multi-denominational faith community that taps into an shares our talents to find creative ways to help each other and those most in need. Along with his work in the church, Don and his wife, Mitzi, serve their community as co-owners of a holistic health practice called Jin Shin Jyutsu® of Greenwich/NYC. Dori Jones; President; Board of TrusteesDori Jones joined the Peace Community Chapel board after volunteering with the organization for many years, assisting with the Annual Coat Drive, sandwich-making, and community events. She has also served as Director of Outreach for the non-profit organization Harboring Hearts, which provides financial and emotional support for heart patients and their families. While living abroad, she volunteered for a youth organization in New Zealand. Helping to serve the community has been an important goal in her adult life.
Professionally, Dori provides consulting services to medical device companies, and she has degrees in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. Dori lives in Greenwich, CT with her husband and two sons, and has many interests including travel, running, and calligraphy. |
Lori Feldman, Vice President; Director of Marketing; Board of TrusteesLori Feldman is a senior marketing, branding and communications leader, with focused expertise in social media and content marketing. Currently a Marketing Consultant, Lori was previously the Global Head of Social Media for Cigna, responsible for enterprise social media marketing initiatives. She previously spent twelve years at Citigroup, most recently as the Head of Branded and Social Media
Marketing for their Transaction Services business, responsible for the editorial planning, creative development and deployment of branded content, platforms and social media programs. She has also held marketing and advertising management positions at Rolling Stone, YM Magazine, Gannett Newspapers and CBS/Fox Video. Lori’s been involved in numerous development and diversity programs, including serving as three-year Co-Chair of Citi’s Women’s Council’s Developing Talent Program, an initiative focused on training and mentoring high potential women, and supporting marketing initiatives for Citi’s Corporate Banking Diversity program. At Cigna, she was a member of the LGBTA Colleague Resource Group (CRG) Leadership Committee andTransgender CRG. Lori currently volunteers for the Philadelphia chapter of Achilles International and the Connecticut Cabaret Theater, managing their social media marketing, as well as the veteran’s mentoring organization, Veterati. Lori was President of the Peace Community Chapel Governing Board from 2014 to 2017, and current serves as its Head of Marketing. She is a member of the Advisory Board for Temple University’s Digital Innovation in Marketing graduate school program and has a B.A. in Theater from theUniversity at Albany. |
Dean Reilly, Secretary; Board of TrusteesDean Reilly is a licensed massage therapist with certifications in the Healing Touch and Reiki modalities. A lifelong volunteer, her previous volunteer work has been for the Red Cross, Hotline (a crisis intervention phone answering service) and Greenwich Hospital, all in Greenwich, CT. Recent opportunities have involved holiday feasts for the homeless with the Saugatuck Congregational Church in Westport, CT.
She has been a board member of EPRA (Employment Programs for Recovered Alcoholics) in New York City since 1996. EPRA is an agency that provides vocational training for people in recovery on public assistance who are now able to work to support themselves. The board members assist the executive director with fundraising events and to promote the program. After a thirty-year career as a writer-producer for the advertising, entertainment and Internet industries, she is very happy to be a member of the healing arts community. She holds a BA from Wheaton College, Norton, MA, in Theater and Classics. Post-graduate studies include television and film production, copywriting and the behavioral sciences. She specializes in Swedish and prenatal massage. She has been on the board as Secretary for Peace Community Chapel since 2014. |
Mitzi Adams, Treasurer; Board of TrusteesMitzi Adams is currently listed on A Growing List of Active Women Choreographers in Dance Magazine, and has been choreographing works for the past twenty-six years with her company, Adams Company Dance. She received her B. F. A. in dance from Temple University and her M. F. A. in dance at the University of Arizona. For over two decades Mitzi has choreographed and performed her works throughout New York City, and in various festivals and concert venues in the USA. Having had a fulfilling career as a dancer, performing with numerous modern dance companies, and independent choreographers, she has gained distinction as a Master teacher, having been an invited guest artist at numerous colleges and universities throughout the USA. Her company has won diverse awards for choreography and dance film works. Adams Company Dance continues to create concert dance, works for her on-line Vimeo channel, and launch missions for the homeless, in alliance with the Peace Community Chapel. Alongside her extensive career as a dance teacher, and choreographer, Mitzi is also a board certified massage therapist and certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, with established practices in both New York and Connecticut. She has been on the board as Secretary of Peace Community Chapel since 2015.

Lisa Karmen, Laity Representative; Board of TrusteesLisa Karmen is an artist, astrologer, teacher, and corporate professional living in New York City.
She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a focus in Psychology, Mythology, and Ceramic Art. As a ceramic artist, Lisa works on commission privately and shows her work in various juried fine arts and crafts shows including the Outdoor Crafts Festival at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT and the Fall and Spring Crafts Fairs at Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown, NY. In 2013, Lisa co-founded City Potters a working pottery studio located in the heart of the Chelsea arts neighborhood in NYC. City Potters is home to 15 potters and is one of the few full-time working studios remaining in Manhattan. Lisa has been a practicing astrologer for over 20 years. She consults with clients privately and is also the Astrological Coach at Tournesol Wellness, a holistic and integrative medical and healing arts center located in midtown Manhattan. At Tournesol Lisa offers private consultations as well as a free lectures series entitled Astrology and Wellness. As a corporate professional, Lisa is currently the Director of Human Resources and Office Manager for Klingenstein Fields Wealth Advisors, a financial services company. |
